Dining Table

The finishing touch for the kitchen-diner

The final piece of the puzzle was a new dining table to match the kitchen. It’s a bespoke version of Jonathan’s Warner Table, designed to seat eight.

Again following Jonathan’s Zero Waste concept, the table’s precise dimensions were chosen to minimise waste. The leftover Hi-Macs from the kitchen splashback was used, invisibly bonded to another sheet (from the same batch, so the colours matched). We stuck with oak, rather than walnut to match the kitchen cabinets, because it’s stronger.

Like the worktop and splashback, Jonathan honed the Hi-Macs surface for a matt finish that shouldn’t show too many signs of wear.
