Whatever the program, 6th Sense technology analyses the load and uses just the right amount of water, electricity and detergent. Best of all, you can load the Whirlpool up with a litre of laundry detergent and it will automatically dispense the right amount each time. This means you only need to reach for the detergent bottle once every month or so, and is quoted as so efficient that users save 12 litres of detergent a year.
The HSCX10441 tumble dryer also has an impressive capacity (10kg), the largest drum on the market and A+++ rating for energy efficiency. It sits elegantly beside the washer, so you can transfer straight from one to the other.
Its 6th Sense technology spends the first couple of minutes of each drying cycle analysing the load and then fine-tunes the program accordingly, even adjusting the program time to ensure you get the right results. Programs include a special cycle for delicate woollen items and a steam cycle that can be used to dry or refresh.
Wi-Fi connectivity and app control for both appliances means you can manage cycles and be alerted to progress, wherever you are. Stuck at the office? You can delay the laundry cycle till later or ask the dryer to spin its load from time to time, to refresh the clothes.
